Chamblee police are helping kids get ready for the new school year.

The department is hosting its second annual back-to-school bash, Cops-N-Stuff, on Saturday, Aug. 4. Police will be giving away book bags filled with school supplies to children from kindergarten to 5th grade, according to a social media post from the City of Chamblee.

Children must be accompanied with a parent or guardian to receive their supplies, according to the post.

Music, food, bounce houses,  game zone trucks and a water slide will also be featured.

The back-to-school event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dresden Park, located at 2301 Dresden Dr.
