Just in time for warm spring weather, Häagen-Dazs stores across metro Atlanta are offering up free ice cream.

On Tuesday, May 8, customers can get a free scoop of ice cream or sorbet in a cup or cone from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. All of the participating metro Atlanta stores are located within shopping malls.

The ice cream giveaway is intended to bring increased awareness to Häagen-Dazs’s efforts to support honey bees. One-third of the human food supply and one-third of Häagen-Dazs flavors are dependent on pollination from bees, the company said in a release. Häagen-Dazs has supported bee-related causes and charities for 10 years.
