They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.

In the case of one north Georgia family, a woman’s skills in the kitchen won praise from her boyfriend’s father.

"This cake is kicking it," family patriarch Norah Borders can be heard saying in a video posted on YouTube. "I'm telling you now, son. You better keep her. You got my blessing right now to marry her."

The Gainesville man didn’t stop there.

The red velvet cake was so good, Borders channeled his inner Michael Jackson and broke out in song.

“Whoo! You knock me off of my feet, baby,” he said. “Whoo! Go on, girl! Go on!”
