Braselton will be one of seven host counties for the 2015 International VIP Tour Wednesday through Friday. The annual event hosted by the Georgia Department of Economic Development is a three-day showcase of northeast Georgia to dignitaries representing 28 countries of the Consular Corps. This year, the itinerary includes a tour of Dawsonville, Dahlonega, Young Harris, Sautee Nacoochee, Cornelia, Gainesville and Braselton.
“Every year the International VIP Tour shows off a ‘slice’ of Georgia to our Consular Corps,” said Ember Bishop, deputy commissioner, international relations, GDEcD. “The tour creates an opportunity to familiarize our VIP Tour guests with destinations they might not have otherwise seen, as well as create long-lasting friendships and business connections within these thriving communities.”
