Inclement weather has forced a postponement of plans to close Sweet Apple Road in Milton for the installation of a new natural gas main, the city announced.
The closure, initially scheduled for Tuesday through Friday of this week, has been pushed back to begin on Monday, March 9. “The closure should last four days and run between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., meaning the road should be accessible at night,” Milton said.
The closure will affect the entire length of Sweet Apple in Milton, from Arnold Mill Road (Ga. 140) to Ebenezer Road, a distance of about 0.5 miles. An Atlanta Gas Light contractor will be installing the new main.
