Gas leak forces evacuation of Life University buildings

May 16, 2013A natural gas leak forced the evacuation of some buildings on the campus of Life University in Marietta late Thursday morning.
A gas line was punctured about 9:30 a.m., Cobb County fire dispatchers said.
Dispatchers told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that two buildings adjacent to the leak were evacuated.
Channel 2 Action News reported at noon that the leak had just been capped, and that students were expected to return to classes shortly.
