Tired of watching “Game of Thrones” alone? Wouldn’t you rather watch the highly anticipated final season of the hit HBO show with a furry friend?

To celebrate the return of the show, dog and cat adoptions are completely free at four shelters around metro Atlanta — for an entire week.

Starting this Sunday and ending April 14, LifeLine Animal Project is offering the free adoptions at its four shelters in DeKalb and Fulton counties:

DeKalb County Animal Services, 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Chamblee

Fulton County Animal Services, 860 Marietta Blvd. NW, Atlanta

LifeLine Dog House & Kitty Motel, 129 Lake St., Avondale Estates

LifeLine Cat Adoption Center, 3172 E Ponce de Leon Ave., Scottdale

Any adopted dog, cat, puppy or kitten will also be spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated for free, which is a $300 value, according to LifeLine, the organization that manages animal services in those two counties.

The adoption event is titled “Game of Homes,” complete with promo images of pups and kittens sitting an Iron Throne made out of dog treats.
