Fulton County has scheduled four open houses at the north and south ends of the county to let the public comment on the county’s proposed Transit Master Plan.
Meetings start at 6 p.m., Jan. 10, at the Best Western, 907 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell; 6:30 p.m., Jan. 18, at the South Fulton Service Center, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park; 6 p.m., Jan. 23, at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta, 5750 Windward Parkway; and 6:30 p.m., Jan. 24, at the College Park City Hall, 3667 Main St.
Residents also are invited to participate in a Transit Master Plan Phase 3 survey, offering such options as heavy rail, light rail and bus rapid transit: http://bit.ly/2CFAMDl
After Fulton County voters in 14 cities and the unincorporated area outside Atlanta approved a Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax in November 2016, county leaders decided a master plan was needed.
