Fulton schools plan faith event

Fulton County Schools officials look to forge partnerships among local schools and the faith community at its fourth annual Faith Summit 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell.

Leaders of local houses of worship can meet with Superintendent Robert Avossa, principals and other district leaders to learn about how they can partner with schools to commit time, start service projects and in general work with campuses to give them tangible support, improve student performance and graduation rates and better prepare them for college and work.
