Fulton official picked for transportation committee

Fulton County Commission Vice Chair Emma Darnell will serve on a key committee for the National Association of Counties, a Washington, D.C.-based organization that lobbies Congress on behalf of county governments. The association’s president, Chris Rodgers, confirmed her appointment to the Transportation Steering Committee earlier this month.

Darnell will help develop policy and act as a liaison to Georgia’s Congressional delegation.
