Fulton libraries set meetings on renovations

The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System has announced a series of public meetings in February to give residents a “sneak peak” at design plans for each of seven libraries to be renovated in Group 1 of the Library Renovation Project.

All meetings are to be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. They are scheduled for Feb. 5 at Kirkwood Library, 11 Kirkwood Road NE, Atlanta; Feb. 6 at Southwest Atlanta Library, 3665 Cascade Road SW, Atlanta; Feb. 7 at Sandy Springs Library, 395 Mount Vernon Highway; and Feb. 12 at Roswell Library, 115 Norcross St.

Also, Feb. 13 at Washington Park Library, 1116 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Atlanta; Feb. 20 at Dogwood Library, 1838 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW, Atlanta; and Feb. 22 at West End Library, 525 Peeples St. SW, Atlanta.

The design/build team will join library staff members to answer questions and share renovation plans. This is the last round of public meetings for Group 1 renovations before construction begins. Information: www.afpls.org
