Fulton commissioners can dole out unused funds

Fulton County commissioners have voted to allow those among them whose districts haven’t used all their Fulton Roundtable Expanded Service Headquarters grant funds to pick one of three ways to spend them. Joan Garner’s east Atlanta district has $129,000, Liz Hausmann’s north Fulton district has $125,500, Bill Edwards’ south Fulton district has $92,000 and Tom Lowe’s north Atlanta and north Fulton district has $2,510.

FRESH grants are divided equally among the five districts. The unallocated funds can be used to develop some one-time project, to provide technical support for grant applicants who were deemed ineligible, or to support county programs for youth.
