PNC Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the man authorities say robbed a Sandy Springs bank at gunpoint.

The FBI announced the reward Thursday and released details of the alleged crime.

About 9:20 a.m. on Feb. 6, a man walked into the PNC at 5430 New Northside Drive and pulled out a handgun, demanding money, the FBI said.

He led two bank employees at gunpoint to a vault and got an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving.

The FBI described the man as being in his 40s or 50s, standing about 5 feet and 7 inches with a medium build. The agency said he was wearing a dark jacket, a ball cap and had a scarf over his face.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
