The deadline is April 24 for residents to register to vote or change their name or address on the voter registration list in time for the May 22 election, Forsyth County officials say.
A voter registration application must be completed and postmarked or otherwise delivered to the Forsyth County Voter Registration and Elections Office, 1201 Sawnee Drive, Cumming GA 30040, by the close of business 4:30 p.m., April 24. Online applications at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. that evening.
Voter registration office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residents also can register to vote at any county public library.
Those who register online must have a valid Georgia driver's license or identification card issued by the state Department of Driver's Services, with a signature on file with DDS.
