The Georgia Sheriff's Youth Homes selected Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton as President of its board of directors.

Paxton, along with the rest of the board of directors, were installed at the Georgia Sheriffs’ Summer Training Conference in July.

He has been a long-time supporter of the Sheriffs’ Youth Homes and has served on the board of directors for several years. Each year the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office sponsors a golf tournament and a motorcycle ride which benefit the Youth Homes.

“The Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes is one of my favorite charities,” Sheriff Paxton said. “I’m glad to have been afforded the opportunity to serve on its board of directors."
