Forsyth County officials said they’ve designated two Roads and Bridges Division crews to clean up tree debris that fell within the county’s right-of-way during the recent winter storms.

The cleanup is expected to take several months, and only involves the right-of-way on county-maintained roads, not state routes such as Ga. 400. Officials stressed that crews won’t pick up storm debris from private property, and that county crews are banned from working on private property.

Officials said the project involves no extra cost, since the work is being done by county personnel working during normal business hours.
