Keep Forsyth County Beautiful will host a paint and electronics recycling event on Saturday, Nov. 3, where residents can drop off old computers and buckets of paint.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Parking Lot 3 of the Cumming Fairgrounds off Castleberry Road, according to a Forsyth County announcement. Printers, cell phones, CD players, gaming consoles and other electronics also will be accepted. A minimum donation of $5 per carload is requested.
Televisions will be taken for a $20 fee, and computer monitors, for $10, cash only, officials said. Certain items, like projection TVs, toaster ovens and refrigerators, will not be accepted.
