Keep Forsyth County Beautiful will host a paint and electronics recycling event on Saturday, Nov. 3, where residents can drop off old computers and buckets of paint.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Parking Lot 3 of the Cumming Fairgrounds off Castleberry Road, according to a Forsyth County announcement. Printers, cell phones, CD players, gaming consoles and other electronics also will be accepted. A minimum donation of $5 per carload is requested.

Televisions will be taken for a $20 fee, and computer monitors, for $10, cash only, officials said. Certain items, like projection TVs, toaster ovens and refrigerators, will not be accepted.

Latex and oil-based paint will be accepted in their original containers at a cost of $13 for a 5-gallon bucket, $5 for a 2-gallon bucket, $3 for a 1-gallon can, and $1 for a quart can or smaller or for any type of spray can.
