The Forsyth County School District invites the public to a “community input meeting” on the district’s annual Comprehensive Local Education Agency (LEA) Improvement Plan.

The LEA document describes how the district will use federal funds to support students, officials said. The plan is to be submitted for approval to the Georgia Department of Education. Residents also will have an opportunity to comment on the district’s Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy.

The meetings are scheduled for 11 a.m.-noon, July 11, in Room 350 of the Board of Education Building, 1120 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming; 9-10 a.m., July 12, at South Forsyth High School, 585 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming; and 6-7 p.m., July 12, at North Forsyth High School, 3635 Coal Mountain Drive, Cumming.

Those unable to attend a meeting can submit LEA and Title I comments to Amy Chang at amychang@forsyth.k12.ga.us
