Forsyth County Sheriff’s Deputies equipped with tracking dogs arrested a suspect in a Chrerkee County stolen car case.

Department officials went on the lookout after a Corvette was stolen in Cherokee County on Tuesday. A Forsyth County deputy located and identified the vehicle near Burnt Bridge Road in North Forsyth. The driver spotted the law officer and fled.

Deputies soon after recovered the vehicle which had been ditched nearby, set up a perimeter, and arrested suspect James Moss after getting a tip from an observant resident.

Authorities said Moss is facing a slew of charges.
