The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will consider several road improvement items at the meeting 5 p.m. today at the Forsyth County Administration Building, 110 E. Main St., Cumming.

The board will weigh giving authorization to submit two grant applications to the state Road and Tollway Authority for road-widening. One involves the expansion of Pilgrim Mill Road; the other the widening of Union Hill Road. Both projects would include putting a bridge over Ga. 400.

Commissioners will also an agreement under which American Engineers, Inc would do engineering services work for the proposed interchange at Ga. 369 and Ga. 400. In addition, commissioners will consider approval of a reimbursement resolution related to funding for the project.
