Trees Atlanta’s “Front Yard Tree Program” is expanding into another part of metro Atlanta.

The city of Chamblee is inviting residents to apply to have a tree planted in their front yard by the experts at Trees Atlanta. Homeowners can visit the North DeKalb Senior Center next Thursday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. and pay a $25 application fee to secure the installation.

If you don’t have a yard or the space for a new tree, professional arborists will still be on hand Thursday to answer questions and provide tips on keeping trees healthy.

According to the Trees Atlanta website, the group already offers a free Yard Tree Program in the cities of Atlanta and Sandy Springs.

The North DeKalb Senior Center is located at 3393 Malone Dr. in Chamblee.
