For many teachers, it’s summer break.
And really, what time could be better for them to adopt a pet?
With that in mind, the Atlanta Humane Society is waiving adoption fees for educators during June.
Any current or retired school teacher, faculty or staff — from public, private, preschool, university and home schools — is eligible.
The deal applies to all adoptable cats and dogs, but it's limited to one per teacher.
