More than a dozen storage units — along with the contents of the units — burned up Monday in a predawn blaze at an East Point storage facility.
East Point firefighters responded to the fire just after 3 a.m. at Public Storage on Woodbury Avenue.
Arriving fire crews found heavy fire coming through the roof of a building.
It was later determined that 15 units were fully involved out of the 68-unit facility and 41 units in total were damaged.
Firefighters had the fire contained by about 5:30 a.m.
The Atlanta Fire Department also dispatched units to the scene. There were no injuries to fire personnel.
