The Fayetteville City Council has again postponed a vote on whether to allow a new apartment complex near its historic downtown square. After two previous continuances, the council removed the item from its meeting agenda Thursday and rescheduled the vote for Dec. 1. City Manager Ray Gibson said the proposal from Rea Ventures Group is still in discussion with the developer after the council asked for revisions to the mixed-use plan. Residents have expressed concern about increased traffic and parking at the Lafayette Avenue location.
