Fayetteville police have arrested two people and are looking for a third in connection with robbing a couple at a Walmart last September.

Antonio Jamal Blakely, 25, of Riverdale and William Anthony Manuel, 20, of Fairburn are in the Fayette County jail Friday on charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery, police said.

Fayetteville detectives and Clayton County police searched Blakely’s home Thursday and found a red Chevrolet Tahoe – one authorities said was linked to the armed robbery – in his garage. They arrested Blakely and Manuel but are looking for a third person, Brandon Thomas Mann, 18, of Fairburn.

The three are accused of robbing a husband and wife in the parking lot of a Fayetteville Walmart. As the couple were walking to their car, one of the men approached them and held a pistol to the mans stomach, police said.

The gunman demanded the man’s wallet and the woman’s purse, police said.

The man refused, and the gunman fired two shots as the man and his wife ran away, police said.

The gunman got in a red Chevrolet Tahoe with the two other men and drove off.

Blakely and Manuel also were charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

Investigators consider Mann to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about him should call Detective Scott Israel at (770) 719-4223 or Detective Mike Whitlow at (770) 719-4222.
