Fayetteville police arrested a Griffin man Saturday night on charges related to a robbery at the Burger King at 655 N. Glynn St. that morning.

Lt. Mike Whitlow reported that a man wearing a white sweatshirt and pink bandanna entered the restaurant around 5:40 a.m. Saturday and forced the manager to open the safe and remove money. Whitlow said the suspect was not armed, but the manager was shaken up.

Surveillance video and witness testimony led to the identification and arrest of Shedrick Lemond Harris, 41, who was charged with one count of Robbery by Force and Intimidation. A search of Harris’s home by detectives revealed evidence associated with the crime.
