All Fayette County public schools will soon have new websites with unified design and function that will parallel the system’s new district site. Technology director Sharon Lunceford gave the Board of Education a sneak peek at Monday’s meeting (Sept. 21), showing mockups for the five high school websites, which are scheduled to be completed by mid-October. New websites for the middle schools are planned for mid-November, and elementary schools should get theirs by late December. The websites are being designed using the Schoolwires platform, part of the school system’s Blackboard software.
