The Fayette County Board of Commissioners will hold a special called meeting at 6 p.m. Friday at the Administrative Complex on Stonewall Avenue in Fayetteville to discuss projects related to the proposed 2017 Special Local Option Sales Tax.

A vote is scheduled for March 21 to decide if the county will adopt an extra penny sales tax to fund $141 million worth of transportation, stormwater infrastructure, public safety and facilities projects. Funds will be distributed among the county and the municipalities of Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Tyrone and Brooks.
