The Fayette Chamber of Commerce’s annual Workforce and Education Forum will focus on creative arts education when it convenes from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 at the chamber office at 600 W. Lanier Avenue, Suite 205, in Fayetteville.
The program will feature a conversation between Fayette County Public Schools Superintendent Joseph Barrow Jr. and Frank Patterson, president and CEO of Pinewood Atlanta Studios, which is based in Fayetteville. Topics will center on the importance and availability of creative arts education, which is expanding in the school system, and how it can prepare Fayette students for college as well as jobs in the local film industry.
