The Fayette Humane Society has issued an urgent call for foster homes for the huge numbers of kittens they are being asked to take in. Also, the municipal Fayette County Animal Shelter needs donations of Purina Kitten Chow to feed its “extremely large number of abandoned kittens.” Food can be brought to the shelter on Ga. Highway 74 South, the Trek bicycle shop in Kedron or Bicycles Unlimited at Peachtree Crossing.
