The Fayette Board of Commissioners recently made a significant change in the future operation of the county water treatment plants. The commissioners chose a new water engineer, CH2M Hill of Denver. The selection of the Denver firm marks the first time in 30 years that the county has change this professional service contract position. With $6.4 billion in revenue and 30,000 employees, CH2M Hill is an industry leader in program management construction manager and design. Fayette officials have used the company previously to handle two emergencies.
