Fayette County’s new Transportation Committee has an opening for a citizen member with technical expertise.

Established by the Board of Commissioners, the committee comprises 11 members who attend monthly meetings to identify traffic problems, provide recommendations for short- and long-term priorities, identify funding sources, help coordinate projects and communicate the county’s views to other regional authorities.

The current citizen term is for one year; applications are available from Floyd Jones at fjones@fayettecountyga.gov or 770-305-5102.

Submissions are due by March 4.
