The Fayette County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications to fill an unexpired term on the Coweta, Fayette and Meriwether County Joint Development Authority. The three-member volunteer board usually meets quarterly on the second Friday of the month to help facilitate business projects among the three counties.

Applicants must be taxpayers residing in Fayette County and should have some familiarity with the development authority. The open term begins immediately and ends on Dec. 8, 2018. Applications, available from Tameca White at twhite@fayettecountyga.gov or 770-305-5103, are due June 16.
