The Fayette County Library Board is accepting applications to fill a vacancy for an unexpired term.
The seven-person volunteer group meets at 4 p.m. on the third Tuesday of January, April, June and October at the Fayetteville library.
Members advise the Board of Commissioners and work with the library director regarding material selections and practices, as well as policies related to library staff.
The open position runs now through Dec. 31. Applications are available from Floyd Jones at fjones@fayettecountyga.gov or 770-305-5102, and are due Feb. 5.
