Fayette County finalizes spillway costs
Fayette County’s payments for the spillway repairs on Lake Peachtree in Peachtree City have been settled.
The Board of Commissioners ratified two last change orders Thursday night for work that has already been completed. The county paid $14,186 for final grouting and $5,700 for the final report approving the safety of the structure.
County Administrator Steve Rapson said additional grouting costs were related to extra repairs identified after work first began, but that the overall cost did not exceed what was budgeted.
