Fayette County’s administrative offices will remain closed to the public through April 30, according to an announcement.

Staff will remain on site to keep county services operating, but contact among departments will be kept minimal. Residents can still contact staff by phone or email; numbers and addresses are on the respective pages at www.fayettecountyga.gov.

The Fayette County tag office closed to the public as of March 23, but staff can still assist residents by phone at 770-461-3611.

The Department of Revenue has extended the vehicle registration deadline so that those due to expire now through May 14 will be due on May 15. Renewals can also be done using the kiosk inside the Kroger in the Braelinn Village Shopping Center on Crosstown Drive in Peachtree City. Other vehicle-related services are available online at https://eservices.drives.ga.gov.
