Fayette County’s Administrative Complex in downtown Fayetteville is about to get a facelift. The Board of Commissioners approved a $170,605 bid lrecently for Centennial Contractors to sandblast, caulk and paint the entire exterior of the complex, including the decks, gutters, downspouts, doors, frames and fencing.

The county is also paying $3,849 to pressure wash the building prior to painting. County offices will remain open during normal hours throughout the work period, which is expected to take about 90 days. Repairs and resurfacing of the complex’s parking area has already been completed.
