During its first work session for 2016, the Fayette County Board of Education chose new officers and delegates Tuesday night.
Marion Key was re-elected as board chair, with Barry Marchman chosen as vice chair. Leonard Presberg will be the board’s legislative liaison, and Diane Basham will be Fayette County’s delegate at the Georgia School Boards Association’s annual conference in June.
The board also voted 5-0 to confirm Erin Roberson as the school system’s new director of human resources, replacing outgoing director Linda Beaubien.
