The Fayette County Public Arts Committee is accepting applications to fill an unexpired term. The 11-member volunteer board makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners regarding ways to develop and promote the work of amateur and professional art in public spaces for local cultural, educational and economic enhancement, and works with the county to facilitate such programs.

The committee meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday and third Monday of each month. Members must be Fayette residents and are chosen for two-year terms.

Applications, available from Tameca White at twhite@fayettecountyga.gov or 770-305-5103, are due by March 17.
