A local family wants to know who killed a man changing a tire along I-20 and then took off.

Orlando McCollough's family and friends say he was a truck driver who often had to work late hours.

On March 23, McCollough pulled over after the Columbia Drive offramp to change a flat tire, but he never made it home.

Police say a driver hit him and drove off.

The impact was powerful enough to throw him 33 feet from his car.

No arrests have been made and McCollough's family is pleading for the driver to come forward.

"I thought about could I forgive this person, but I don't know, because you just hit him and left. You just left," McCollough's sister, Tereon Norman, said.

"Five minutes from home, and you just hit him and kept going. That's not fair and that's not right. Justice is all we want for Lando," McCollough's friend Shay Powell said.

Investigators say no witnesses who saw the collision have come forward.

"Help us please find out who did this to my brother," Norman said.
