Falcons' Sean Weatherspoon hosts food initiative for families

What a chance to go grocery shopping with Atlanta Falcons' linebacker Sean Weatherspoon?

Weatherspoon is helping families through his SPOON-feed a Family initiative. He hopes to help several families in metro Atlanta buy food before Thanksgiving and will host a shopping spree at an undisclosed location.

To qualify, families must submit an essay of 200 words and less explaining why they should be selected. Applicants can send the essay to Isaiah DeLeon-Mares at MaresManagementLLC@gmail.com or call 314-488-5278.

The winning families will be announced by email on Nov. 20.
