The Fairburn City Council will a public hearing during the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at Fairburn City Hall, 56 Malone St. The hearing is the last one for residents to give comments before the council votes to adopt the 2016-2017 city budget. The proposed budget has a revenue of $36,873,199, expenses of $37,319,124 and general fund expenditures totalling $14,629,919.

The council will also discuss two contract agreements between the city and two construction companies. One contract is with Construction Management Services to complete a public works project and the other with The Zayo Company for utility pole attachments.
