The Elam Road closure enacted to replace a storm drain pipe between Rowland Road and South Hairston Road, has been extended to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2. The road will remain closed to through-traffic and road closure signs will be posted advising motorists of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions.

Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes.
