Police have arrested a man in connection with the Jan. 31 shootout that paralyzed a Moreland Avenue shopping district.

Julious Robles has been charged with trafficking marijuana.

During the gun battle in the parking lot of the Edgewood Retail District, a 30-year-old man not involved in the incident was shot in the back as he was driving out of the parking lot. The man survived the wounding.

Robles, 20, was seen in a Penske moving truck involved in the melee. The truck was carrying a load of marijuana.

Police arrested Robles just over a week ago, "but due to the nature of the investigation, detectives waited until several search warrants could be executed before making this announcement," a statement from the Atlanta Police Department said Friday.

Robles is being held in the DeKalb County jail without bond, and narcotics detectives continue to investigate.
