East Point to perform maintenance on gas line

The city of East Point has announced scheduled maintenance work on an underground gas line to take place next week.

The Southern Co. will perform the work at the intersection of Dodson Drive and Stone Road, in the transmission right of way lane. The work will begin as early as Monday and take approximately seven days to complete.

Motorists should plan to encounter delays or travel on alternate routes.
