The East Point Complete Count Committee will host a Decennial Census Count The Point Prayer Breakfast 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 14 at East Point First Mallalieu United Methodist Church, 2651 N Church St.

Organizers of the event encourage all leaders of faith and non-profit organizations in the city of East Point to attend this meeting to discuss and implement strategies to increase participation in the 2020 Census.

This workshop launches a local awareness campaign to generate excitement within faith communities about the upcoming nation-wide “Faith Communities Census Weekend of Action,” March 27-29, a campaign recently announced by the U.S Census Bureau in Washington, D.C.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast meet and greet begins at 7:45 a.m.
