The East Point City Council will discuss applying for a body camera grant during the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Annex, 3121 Norman Berry Drive. The application is to the United States Department of Justice which sponsors the annual Body Worn Camera Policy and Implementation Program Grant for $250,000. The program requires the city to match the grant by 50 percent.

The council will also consider approval of a municipal court judge and board of directors for the reconstituted East Point Downtown Development Authority.
