Early voting leading up to the Dec. 1 runoff for three Johns Creek City Council races appears to be steady, but unspectacular.

Fulton County Director of Elections and Registration Richard Barron said that through Thursday, 309 people had voted.

Given that it’s an off-year municipal runoff, “that’s a bit better than I expected,” he said.

On Dec. 1, voters will select candidates in two Post 2 races. In the race to fill the unexpired term of Brad Raffensperger, who resigned, voters will pick between Todd Burkhalter and Chris Coughlin. In the voting for the full term, Jay Lin and Coughlin will square off.

And in Post 5 race, Stephanie Endres and Nazeera Dawood will compete to fill Kelly Stewart’s unexpired term. She also submitted her resignation.

Voters can cast early ballots 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. through Wednesday at the Fulton/Ocee branch, 5090 Abbotts Bridge Road in Alpharetta.
