Dunwoody police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who robbed Fidelity Bank down the street from Perimeter Mall.

The man, who was captured on security camera footage, walked in the bank about 10:45 a.m. last Thursday and asked the teller for a deposit slip, police department spokesman Mark Stevens said in a news release.

"A few moments later the suspect provided a hand-written note on the deposit slip, demanding money and stating he was armed with a gun," Stevens said. "The teller provided the suspect an unknown amount of currency before the suspect left the building."

No getaway car was seen fleeing the bank, located at 135 Perimeter Center West.

The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, of an unknown race, with a light complexion. He stands around 5-foot-8 and weighs about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with dark long sleeves, dark pants and a white hat.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jesus Maldonado at 678-382-6914 or jesus.maldonado@dunwoodyga.gov.
