The Dunwoody City Council will hold a public hearing for a special land use permit 6 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 103. The permit is requested by Lang Real Estate Services LLC on behalf of Davechev Inc., owner of 5465 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, to purchase the property and construct a building for retail and restaurant uses.

Also on the council agenda is a measure appointing a new member to the city sustainability committee. Jacob Schiele, a resident and high school student in Dunwoody, will serve a two year term on the committee if approved.

The council will also request funding for grading, drainage and sidewalk improvements on Winters Chapel Road and Old Village Lane, in partnership with Georgia Development Partners. The cost for both projects is $295,000 and $85,000 respectively.
